Replacing glass is one of those things you don’t think about until you need it. But when you do you want to get the biggest bang for the buck. Auto Glass Hollywood is where that will happen.

I had my car broken in to and in looking around I was seeing long waits and a pretty substantial cost. A friend was searching too which led me to getting in touch for a quote. I spoke with Maria on a Saturday and she couldn’t have been any better to work with. When she told me the cost and when it could be taken care of, (the next day) I was on board. Then I got a call from her saying Danny was actually nearby and could stop by immediately. Big win.

Unfortunately, I think I conveyed the wrong info to Maria and Danny showed up with a window with different tint. He was a total pro, and a very nice guy, and said he’d be back the next morning. Gave me a one hour window, showed up on time, did a great job and that was that.

It’s sort of rare to find the great price/great service combo but Auto Glass Hollywood delivered on both counts. THESE are the guys to use when you find yourself hunting for glass repair. No doubt.

Now, if they could only find the piece of dirt who broke in to my car they’d get six stars from me.

I live up in Los Feliz and I called around 10am to get a quote on a rear driver-side window that was broken due to vandalism. Got a text back from Danny within 5 minutes with a reasonable quote. I am the typical reviewer that goes straight to social media and gives appropriate reviews when I get bad service. This review is an effort to reverse that and also because I was genuinely well served by Danny and his professional helper today. I was given an appointment 2 days out by Safelite and no amount of pleading could get me an appointment sooner.

Love this place! Our car had one smashed window and another one cracked after a break in. I contacted Danny in the morning and within minutes, he texted me back. Walked outside this morning to head to work and found that somebody had thrown an empty wine bottle through my rear passenger window. Sigh. Well today is ruined. Drove to work, avoiding all the broken glass shards, with a strong suction-breeze due to the one awkward window being open. (Hey! Now I know why those windows in the back only roll down 90% of the way!)

Grumbling, I filed a police report online, and found Auto Glass Hollywood on Yelp. I sent them a text message asking if I could get a quote for a 2012 Chevy Sonic Hatchback. Bonus points for allowing me to text! She introduces herself as Maria and asks me my zip code. I say this is my home zip code, but I’m at work at this zip code until 4pm today.

She replies that actually they can send somebody out to my place of employment in Burbank and repair it for me while I’m at work. They can do this within the next two hours, and it’ll be $215. Incredible!

Not only did they come straight to me FAST, he vacuumed up all of the extra broken glass in the car, chatted a little bit, and repaired the window in about 30 minutes. I completed the transaction with their card reader, and that was it.

I couldn’t believe how much they eased my tensions and stress. SO fast, SO affordable, SO convenient. These guys were awesome, and definitely lessened the blow of having my car window busted out!

Unfortunately my Prius window got bashed in while parked in Beverly Hills the other night, so I had to get it replaced. A coworker’s boyfriend just got his windshield replaced by Auto Glass Hollywood and recommended it.

Maria was helpful in making the appointment and working out a good price, and Danny arrived and got the job done in less than 20 minutes. I love that I could get a same day appointment, and didn’t have to leave my work. Plus, the price seemed competitive compared to the quote SafeLite gave me (I had a bad experience with SafeLite on my last car and was hoping to avoid using them).

Honestly I could not have had a better experience. Some inconsiderate person broke into my car, thus breaking the vent window. I called Danny Thursday evening and gave him all the car information. I woke up this morning to find my car in the garage with a smashed driver’s side window. After reading the other Yelps, I called Auto Glass Hollywood and spoke directly with Danny about an estimate to come and replace the glass.

I called Danny at 930a and he quickly gave me a quote and said he’d be by between 10a and 11a. Danny arrived on time and did the work on site in about 30 minutes. The new glass is perfect and he made sure to vacuum out all the broken shards.

Well, this is what I get for parking on the street in downtown instead of paying $5 for a lot. Never again. No idea who would want to break into my car, I purposefully leave the inside looking like a crazy lady drives it so would-be thieves will steer clear. Danny’s got a good service going. I called about a busted out window on my car. He was able to come to my location within a couple of hours and replaced the window pretty quickly. Over the phone, a woman told me that he’d also be able to vacuum up the debris from the broken glass. That didn’t happen, though he did sweep up most of the easy to reach stuff. Not really a big deal, but thought I would mention it.

Window was great for awhile, but then randomly jumped off track almost a month later. I called Danny up and told him about it. I had never had a problem before. He was back at my place an hour later and got it back on track at no extra charge. I think the norm in L.A. would be to tell me that it’s been too long and isn’t his fault, but he helped out no questions asked. That’s five stars in my book.

I’d call him again if I ever have another busted window.
